Late Application Request Portal Now Closed

The window for requesting permission to submit a late application under the Road Transporters Support Scheme (RTSS) closed at 12 noon on Friday 24 July 2026.

The Department is no longer accepting requests to submit a late application.

All requests received before the deadline will be assessed in accordance with the published criteria. Each request will be considered on its own merits, having regard to the information and supporting documentation provided.

Applicants will be notified once a decision has been made on their request. Where permission to submit a late application is granted, applicants will receive further information on the next steps in the process.

The Department would like to thank all applicants and stakeholders for their engagement with the Scheme.

Queries in relation to the scheme can be directed to RTSS@transport.gov.ie. We are receiving large volumes of queries and may not be able to respond to individual queries or requests for updates on individual applications.
