The Centre for Transport Research at Trinity College Dublin is conducting a survey to determine the impact of congestion on the M50.

The data collected will be used to obtain a greater understanding of these effects and to rank potential solutions for alleviating congestion in both the short and long term. This research is entirely independent; the solutions examined are based on a review of international best practices for managing motorway congestion.
