When driving any vehicle, “Blind Spots” are dangerous and the cause of many accidents. This problem is compounded with larger vehicles and a system that will warn the driver of pedestrians, cyclists or any other objects is now not only essential on HGVs, but also regulated and compulsory.
In urban settings when the vehicle is likely to be driving under 20mph, and where pedestrians are more likely to be, City Smart Pro will specifically identify pedestrians and cyclists.
AI identifies vulnerable road users located in hazardous areas and alerts the driver with both audio and real-time video. When the vehicle exceeds 20mph, the technology recognizes vehicles in the hazardous areas.
