The European Commission says that simpler administration for companies and SMEs will lead for better transport for all.
Simplification is a key political priority for the European Commission. The aim is to reduce administrative burdens by at least 25% for all companies and 35% for SMEs, in addition to leveraging the power of digital tools to deliver better, faster solutions.
To that end EUTransport, is currently carrying out an external study to review all transport legislation to identify measures that could lead to simplification and cost reduction.
EUTransport is calling for stakeholder engagement to provide evidence and solutions to achieve its objectives.
