The Department for Transport in the UK is supporting the uptake of zero emission commercial vehicles by providing £30 million in funding for the installation of HGV, van and coach charging infrastructure at depot sites throughout the UK.
Fleet operators can apply for grants of up to £1 million to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure at their depots, which could create up to 3,000 van and 200 HGV charge points across the UK.
This latest investment builds on £200 million already committed to accelerate the zero-emission HGV rollout – read more on the funding: https://lnkd.in/ebimti5E
