Licensed hauliers have been reminded that the Road Transporters Support Scheme remains open for applications until Friday, June 12.

The reminder comes from Minister of State for International and Road Transport, Logistics, Rails and Ports, Sean Canney who has reminded operators that the scheme remains open until Friday, June 12.

The scheme is providing €120 million in support for the haulage and coach sector, helping operators facing increased fuel costs and ongoing pressures.

Mr Canney told HGVIreland.com: “The haulage and coach sector plays a vital role in keeping our economy moving and connecting communities across Ireland, particularly in rural areas. I would encourage all eligible operators who have not yet applied to do so before the closing date.”
