The Mercedes-Benz eActros, which recently arrived in Ireland, is set to raise the bar with a range of 500kms.
BWG Foods has taken delivery of the first two eActros tractor units in Ireland and Fergus Conheady, Sales Manager for Mercedes-Benz Truck told the Roadway Ireland Podcast that the eActros is a game changer because of its range.
“It’s the first tractor unit, that’s publicly available that can achieve a range of 500kms,” Conheady told the Roadway Ireland Podcast.
” If I am a haulier I can go Dublin to Galway and back with no problems or Dublin to Cork and back with a small splash (charge).
