Gas Networks Ireland is now accepting applications for the GRAZE Vehicle Grant Scheme.

The GRAZE Vehicle Grant Scheme has been created to assist Irish fleet operators and hauliers in funding the transition to cleaner gas vehicles.

Switching from diesel to compressed natural gas (CNG) reduces carbon emissions by up to 20 per cent while switching to renewable bioCNG reduces carbon emissions of a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) by up to 90 per cent. 

The scheme will support the purchase of up to 75 new, gas vehicles, which will support the decarbonisation of Ireland’s transport sector and provide an affordable, proven and viable alternative to diesel for Irish fleet operators.
