FTA Ireland has met with Dublin Port stakeholders to discuss and tackle key operational challenges affecting port efficiency.
FTA Ireland representatives met with officials from the Dublin Port Company, the Department of Transport and other industry stakeholders recently.
Niall Cotton CEO FTA Ireland said: “The discussion was practical, focused, and solution driven, exactly what’s needed to keep Ireland’s busiest port running predictably and efficiently for the whole supply chain.”
Niall added: “It was great to be joined by Ryan Brady, Managing Director of Stateline Logistics Group, reflecting the strong engagement of FTA Ireland members in shaping positive change.”
The stakeholders have copmmiotted to meet again at the end of Q2 to progress the following key focus areas:
* Terminal opening hours
* Booking systems
* Communications
* Weather impacts/responses
* Empty containers
