The former CEO of FTA Ireland, Aidan Flynn has joined Insurance Ireland, after a long a fruitful association with the trade association that represents the freight sector in Ireland.

“Aidan’s leadership of FTA Ireland was transformational and gave the industry a strong voice in the corridors of power and helped to drive the policy agendas that affect those that deliver for Ireland, from skills development to compliance.

His work in the apprenticeship space, in particular ensured that the sector can now start to develop the talent needed to recruit for years to come.

I am really pleased to join Moyagh and the team at Insurance Ireland as Director of Advocacy and Public Affairs during a period of unprecedented change. The insurance sector is dynamic, complex and pplays a crucial role in the Irish economy, contributing over €2.7 billion to the exchequer annually.”
