DAF Trucks Ireland has paid tribute to a group of 18 heavy-duty technicians across Cork and Dublin, who recently earned their DAF certifications, from Maintenance Technician right through to Master Technician level.

Presented by Mike Mellor, DAF regional aftersales manager and Mark Berrigan, DAF field service director, each technician received their certification and a specially commissioned trophy to mark the milestone.

A spokesperson for DAF Trucks Ireland said this success “reflects not only outstanding technical expertise, but also a huge personal commitment – countless hours of study, training and dedication outside of normal working hours”.

“2025 was an incredible year, and the commitment shown by these technicians continues to strengthen our organisation and we look forward to the year ahead,” they added.
