All roads led to Ballyconnell in Co. Cavan at the weekend for the Irish Road Haulage Association’s 46th Annual Conference in the Slieve Russell Hotel.

This year’s event was scheduled to have an election for president, but with Brexit negotiations ongoing, a decision was taken not to hold an election and to leave President Verona Murphy at the helm again for another year.
This year’s Annual Conference, was jointly sponsored by Renault Trucks and ProVision, and featured an outdoor commercial display as well as a selection of trade stands in the hotel.
Proceedings kicked-off on Friday, with a seminar on the Truck Cartel with a Gala Dinner attended by 450 people on Saturday night.
