Adrian Madden, Head of Sales, at asset and invoice finance specialists, Close Brothers is set to make the trip to Cape Town next month to work with the Mellon Educate charity.

Adrian told HGVIreland.com “I’ve been in the Townships of Capetown a few times to build houses with this charity. The locals have no running water, electricity and barely any clothes. Currently Mellon Educate are building schools and playgrounds to give children a better future.”

He added: “I’m raising money with my daughter as we will be travelling to South Africa to partake in their November Building Blitz. No matter how many times you may be asked to donate throughout the year and I recognise you will have your preferred charities to support, please remember how fortunate we all are compared to living in their conditions.”

He concluded: “Your money saves lives and enriches children that are totally poverty stricken.”
