Aid From Ireland convoy bound for Poland / Ukraine border


A convoy of eight trucks is set to depart for Poland on Tuesday with aid for the Ukrainian people, affected by the ongoing War.

According to, Hendrick European, BM Transport, Amigo Transport, Ryan Freight and Virginia International Transport are amongst the company’s participating in the convoy.

Hendrick European is arranging collection of essential goods to be shipped from Ireland to a distribution centre close to the Ukrainian border in Poland.

The call has gone out for the following items to be packed in banana boxes if at all possible to facilitate transport and distribution:

Children’s cloths
Anti-septic creams
Wet wipes
Sanitary items for women
Women’s underwear (new)
Washing up powder (small boxes)
Colouring pencils and books..
Dry food (lentils,buckwheat, stockcubes, dried veg etc)
Plastic plates, bowls and cutlery
Tinned meat and fish
Paracetamol.. ibuprofen…
Milton tablets or equivalent

If sending shampoo etc., please wrap in Cling Film or put in plastic sealed containers.

Please attach a Contents List in English or Polish taped to the box so it can be allocated as quickly as possible….
