Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) and Heavy Good Vehicle (HGV) sales continued to tumble in November, according
to figures released by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry.
Light Commercial Vehicle registrations for November 2009 (307) were down 38.1 per cent on the same period last year (496), while the year to date figure at 9,102 is 69.5 per cent down on the 11 months of last year (29,864).
Heavy Vehicle registrations were down 41.18 per cent (40) compared to November 2008 (68) and are down 69.5 per cent (1,066) for the year to date compared to the same period in 2008 (3,495).
