A protest by a road haulier on the Tuam road, Galway today ended peacefully on Tuesday, according to galwaynews.ie.
The website reports that some truck drivers engaged in a peaceful protest from early morning on Tuesday at Two-Mile Ditch over a private commercial dispute.
The haulage operators blocked the entrance to a premises on the Tuam Road, Glaway resulting in other vehicles piling up on the hard shoulder.
Galway Gardaí organised for a tow truck to remove the offending trucks, but the hauliers left of their own accord.
