From 10th of September 2009, all professional truck drivers (those who drive for a living) must have a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC).
If you held a full driving licence before 10th of September 2009 you are automatically entitled to Driver CPC. If you’re a new driver you’ll have to pass the Driver CPC examination.
All drivers, new and existing will be required to keep this qualification by attending a day training
day per year.
