EU wants LCV speed limiters

Two key EU committees are seeking to introduce new regulations that would ultimately lead to speed limiters fitted in light commercial vehicles.

The European Parliament’s Industry, Research and Energy and Transport committees had voted to accept draft emission standards for new vans.

Both groups want compulsory speed limiters on vans though each has different ideas on emissions limits.
