Euro Contrôle Route is calling on the help haulage operators to establish a list of “pressure points” across Europe, where penalties for driving and rest time rules are disproportionate.
The rules for driving and rest times are the same throughout Europe. However, the interpretation and application of the rules can differ from country to country.
Euro Contrôle Route is trying to get a better understanding of the enforcement of the regulations on driving and rest times, and possible pressure points in their enforcement.
